Archos is a France based electronic company established in year 1988. It manufacture portable electronic devices and media players. It ventured into smartphones market through Archos 50, 52 Platinum and 50 Oxygen smartphones. In January, 2015, it launch Archos 50B Helium smartphone. It comes with dual SIM configuration, 4G LTE support, HD screen, Snapdragon processor, 8MP camera and KitKat operating system. It comes in a pack with handset, USB charger cable, battery, hands-free kit, quick start guide and warranty booklet.

Display and Design 

The phone features a 5- inch IPS HD display at the front which has a screen resolution of 1280x720 pixels. Designed by using a bar format, it comes with slight curved edges which make it quite attractive device. It has a height of 145mm, width of 71.5mm, thickness of 8.95mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 160 grams. As its a slim and sleek device, it easily fits into your palm and offers comfort while using.

Processor and OS

It comes loaded with 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Quad- core Cortex A53 processor which perform its basic operations along with 1GB RAM to ensure better performance and it also provides advanced features to its users. The operating system version offered in this phone is Android 4.4.4 KitKat.

Camera and Memory

For the shutterbugs, it has 8MP camera at back with LED flash and autofocus feature. One can also record full HD videos with this camera and save their precious moments forever. On the other hand, it has a 2MP camera at front for the selfies of good quality. To store your pictures, videos, audios and texts, it is loaded with 8GB internal memory and an expandable storage support of up to 64GB with the help of microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

This device serves your surfing needs through the facilities like 4G LTE, 3G network, EDGE, GPRS, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi/Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth. The backup power to the phone is delivered by removable Li-Poly 2000mAh battery. It comes along with 5V 1A micro-USB adapter for charging purpose.

Multimedia

Google apps like Gmail, calendar, hangouts,maps, play music, play books comes pre- loaded in the phone. It supports MP3 and WAV ringtones as its alert type. Messaging facilities of the phone includes SMS, MMS and Email. It also allows you play and record full HD videos.
