Apple iPhone 5s is the newest smartphone launched by Apple in US in September 10, 2013. It works on the 2G frequencies of GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz for all versions and CDMA 800/1700/1900/2100 MHz for models A1533 (CDMA) and A1453, 3G frequencies of HSDPA 850/900/1700/1900/2100 MHz for models A1533 (GSM) and A1453 and HSDPA 850/900/1900/2100 MHz for models A1457 plus on A1530 and 4G frequencies at LTE bands. It does not support micro-SIM but Nano-SIM. It comes in a pack with iOS 7, Apple EarPods with remote and mic, battery, lighting to USB Cable, USB power adapter and other documentation.

Display and Design

It has a 4-inch IPS LCD Capacitive touchscreen at front which provides a display resolution of 640x1136 pixels, 326ppi pixel density and 16 Million Colors Display. It has fingerprint resistant Oleophobic coating on front and Corning Gorilla Glass protection to avoid any scratch or damage. Measurement wise, it has a height of 123.8mm, width of 58.6mm and thickness of 7.6mm and has a weight of 112gms. It also has a Touch ID in the form of fingerprint identity sensor built into the Home button. Its sensors includes 3-Axis Gyro, accelerometer, proximity, ambient light, fingerprint identity and digital compass.

Processor and OS

It is powered by a Dual-core 1.3GHz Cyclone PowerVR G6430 processor which is coupled with 1GB RAM to provide enough space to the data that need fast access. It runs on  iOS 7 to provide new apps which is upgradable to iOS 7.1.2 and iOS 8.1.3.

Camera and Memory

Apple iPhone 5s has a 8.0MP iSight rear camera of 3264x2448 pixels resolution with 1.5u pixels, f/2.2 aperture, sapphire crystal lens cover, true tone flash, five-element lens, hybrid IR filter, backside illumination sensor, auto-focus, digital zoom, touch focus, face detection, burst and panorama mode, Geo-tagging and HDR. It has 1080p HD video recording capability at 30fps. It also has 1.3MP front facetime camera of resolution 1280x960 pixels with 720p HD video recording. It has no card slot but got an Internal memory of 16GB or 32GB or 64GB, from which either one can be chosen which will also somewhat alter its price.

Connectivity and Battery

For data connectivity, Apple iPhone 5s has GPRS, EDGE, 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi with Dual-band and Hotspot for WLAN, v4.0 Bluetooth with A2DP, v2.0 USB, HTML(Safari) browser and GPS with A-GPS support and GLONASS.  It has a built-in rechargeable 1440mAh Li-Ion Battery which can be charged via USB to computer system or power adapter and has a Stand-by time of up to 250 hours on 2G as well as 3G, Talk-tome of up to 10 hours on 2G as well as 3G, video playback of up to 10 hours, audio playback of up to 40 hours and use can use your internet for up to 8 hours on 3G and up to 10 hours on LTE as well as Wi-Fi.

Multimedia

By using Siri feature, you can send messages, set reminders, place phone calls, schedule meetings and many more things by just using your voice and this software can also talk back i.e. can interact with you. Also, it can send iMessage, SMS, MMS, E-Mail and Push E-Mail for messaging. Apple iPhone 5s has many other features which includes active noise cancellation with dedicated Mic, airDrop file sharing, Siri natural language commands and dictation, iCloud cloud service, SNS integration, TV-out, google maps, iBooks and PDF reader, audio and video players with editors, organiser, document viewer and editor, image viewer and editor, voice memo, dials and commands and many other features to make your jaw drop on the floor.

Shades and Price

It is available in three beautiful shades which includes Space Grey+Black, Gold+White and Silver+White. It has Vibration, MP3 and WAV ringtones as its alert types and has a loudspeaker as well as a 3.5mm jack.
