Apple iPhone 5c is the newest and cheapest Smartphone from Apple launched on September 10, 2013 in US. It works on the 2G frequencies of GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz for all models and CDMA 800/1700/1900/2100 MHz for models A1532 (CDMA) and A1456, 3G frequencies of HSDPA 850/900/1700/1900/2100 for models A1532 (GSM), A1532 (CDMA) plus on A1456 and HSDPA 850/900/1900/2100 MHz for models A1507 and A1529 and 4G frequencies at LTE bands. It does not support micro-SIM; it has option of only Nano-SIM. It has a height of 124.4mm, width of 59.2mm and thickness of 8.97mm as its dimensions and has a weight of 132gms. It has a 4.0-inch LED-backlit, IPS LCD, Widescreen, Multi-touch, Capacitive touchscreen display of resolution 640x1136 pixels with 326ppi pixel density, 16 Million colors display, Retina display, 800:1 typical contrast ratio, 500cd/m2 typical maximum brightness and Fingerprint-resistant Oleophobic coating on front and has a good support for display of multiple languages and characters simultaneously. It is available in five shades to choose from which includes Green, Blue, Yellow, Pink and White with cases of same shades with an additional case of Black color. It has Vibration, MP3 and WAV ringtones as its alert types and also has a loudspeaker as well as a 3.5mm jack.

Apple iPhone 5C has no memory card slot but has an internal memory of 16GB/32GB, from which either one can be chosen which also alter its price. Its Indian price range is not yet announced but it is available in US at a price of $99 for 16GB model and $199 for 32GB model. Apple iPhone 5c also has a 1GB RAM and comes in a pack with Apple Ear Pods with Remote and Mic, Lightning to USB Cable, USB Power Adapter, Battery and some Documentation. It has a built-in rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery which can be charged via USB to computer system or power adapter and has a Stand-by time of up to 250 hours on 2G as well as 3G, Talk-time of up to 10 hours on 2G as well as 3G, audio and video playback of up to 40 hours and up to 10 hours respectively and the internet can be used up to 8 hours on 3G and up to 10 hours on LTE and Wi-Fi. It has an Apple A6 chipset along with a 1.3GHz Dual-core processor and a 'PowerVR SGX 543MP3' GPU with triple-core graphics.

It has iOS 7.0 as the operating system and has iMessage, SMS, MMS, E-Mail, Push E-Mail, IM and SNS integration for messaging. Its sensors include 3-axis Gyro, Accelerometer, Proximity, Ambient Light and Digital Compass. For data connectivity, Apple iPhone 5c has GPRS; EDGE; 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi with Dual-band and Hotspot for WLAN; v4.0 Bluetooth with A2DP; v2.0 USB port; HTML(Safari browser); GPS with A-GPS support and GLONASS with the 3G speeds of DC-HSDPA 42Mbps, HSDPA 21Mbps and HSUPA 5.76Mbps and 4G speeds of LTE 100Mbps and EV-DO Rev. A of up to 3.1Mbps. Its extra features includes Active Noise Cancellation with Dedicated Mic, AirDrop file sharing, Siri Natural language commands and dictation, iCloud cloud service, TV-out, Google Maps, iBooks and PDF reader, audio and video players with editors, organizer, Document viewer, Image viewer and editor, Voice Memo, Dial and Command and many other features to take your breath away in a very short price.

Apple iPhone 5c has a 8.0MP iSight rear camera of resolution 3264x2448 pixels with f/2.4 aperture, LED flash, Backside Illumination sensor, 5-element lens, Hybrid IR filter, Digital Zoom, Auto-Focus, Tap to Focus, Face detection, HDR, Panorama mode and Geo-tagging and can perform simultaneous HD video and image recording. It can also record 1080p HD videos at 30fps with features like LED light, video stabilization, face detection, 3xzoom and video Geo-tagging and can also take still photo while recording videos. It also has a 1.2MP front FaceTime camera of resolution 1280x960 pixels with 720p HD video recording and Backside Illumination sensor. This front camera is capable of FaceTime video calling to any FaceTime-enabled device over Wi-Fi or cellular and can initiate video calls over LTE, DC-HSDPA, HSPA+, 3G and 2G. It can even perform HVGA resolution video calls over Wi-Fi.
