Allview has announced two new smartphones based on Windows 8.1 platform on June 26, 2014 and the Impera S is one of them. The box contents include a handset, charger, battery, earphone, USB cable, user manual and a warranty card. Let's take a closer look at the specifications of phone.
The Impera S is a stylish phone that grabs attention of masses almost everywhere. It has got a height of 144.85mm, width of 72.1mm and a thickness of 8.75mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 156.2gms. The front of phone is dominated by a IPS LCD touchscreen of 5.0-inches with a 720x1280 pixels resolution. This HD display uses the one glass solution (OGS) technology and is protected by Dragontrail glass.
The Impera S is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor with a MSM8212 chip-set and Adreno 302 GPU. It has a RAM of 1 GB and an internal storage of 8 GB which can be expanded up to 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card. It runs on the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system. The phone has enough power to handle apps and software.
This smartphone operates on 2G (GSM 900/1800 MHz) and 3G (HSDPA 900/2100 MHz) network frequencies. One can store an unlimited number of contacts to its phonebook memory. For messaging, it is featured with SMS, MMS, email and IM services.
The Impera S boasts a 8 MP rear camera, featured with an LED flash and digital zoom which has the ability to capture 3264x2448 resolution pictures. The 2 MP front-facing camera allows the users to take 1600x1200 resolution selfies along with video calling.
The connectivity options includes GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP and EDR, micro USB v2.0, GPS and hands-free connectivity. It is energized by a Li-Ion 2000 mAh battery which delivers a talk-time up to 8 hours and standby time up to 200 hours.
The Allview Impera S is available in a single shade which is Black.
