After the launch of Allview A6 Quad, Allview android smartphone company is now focusing on windows phone segment and have launched their first Allview Impera I in this category in June, 2014. The company claims that it is a world's lightest window smartphone with just 98.9 gms in weight. Allview is a Romanian based company, works in manufacturing and distribution of Dual SIM mobile phones and electronic products. The company was founded in 2002 and its headquarters are located in the center of Romania, Brasov. Allview Impera I is a new Window phone 8.1 loaded with impressive features. Design and Build Quality

Allview Impera I is a smartly designed Android smartphone with rounded corners. With a slim design and excellent build quality, it only measures 7.4 mm in thickness. It operates on Windows 8.1 operating system which is offering an amazing user experience. The phone uses a touchscreen keypad to capture user input.

Display

Coming to the display and design portion which is the base of the phone, Allview Impera I has a pretty impressive 4.7-inch IPS display screen with a high resolution of 1280x720 pixels and OGS touchscreen technology and high pixel density of 312ppi which supports 16 Million colors for better display. The display is protected by the Dragontrail Glass, an alkali-aluminosilicate glass sheet designed to get scratch resistance glass. It has dimensions of 135.8 x 67.2 x 7.2 mm. The display is boosted with multi-touch ability to recognize the presence of more than two points of a contact with the surface.

Processor and Memory

The smartphone comes with the integrated 1.2 GHz Quad-core Cortex-A7 processor for fast browsing and premium games on your mobile phone. Processor is coupled with Qualcomm MSM8212 Snapdragon 200 chipset and 1 GB of RAM for good performance. Talking about ROM, the smartphone comes with 8 GB of in-built memory which can be extended up to 32 GB with the help of micro USB card.

Telephony and Messaging

It is a dual SIM smartphone that operates on 2G frequency GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz and 3G frequency HSDPA 900 / 2100 MHz. It's dual SIM function helps you to maintain a balance in your personal and professional life. The smartphone is an ideal choice for the two SIM cards from different carriers. Camera and Image Quality

It has an 8 MP primary camera with auto focus, touch focus, Geo-tagging and LED Flash features at image resolution of 3264x2448 pixels. The smartphone is available in only black color option. It is priced at Rs. 12977 according to official site (159 Euro).

Conclusion

On the whole, it is a good phone with good features. Talk-time offered by phone is bit less than any other average smartphone. The display of the phone is protected by the new Dragontrail Glass which is equivalent to Gorilla Glass. It is in competition with well established phones like Nokia Lumia 925, Micromax Canvas Win W121, Samsung Galaxt S5 etc.
