The Alcatel OneTouch Pop Icon is an Android based smartphone launched with latest operating system. It comes with dual SIM compatibility with dual stand-by support. The box contents includes a battery, charger, handset, earphone, USB cable, user manual and warranty card.

Display and Dimensions

The front boasts a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen which flaunts a resolution of 480x854 pixels. The large display is able to exhibit 16M colors and carries a pixel density of 196 ppi. It comes loaded with number of sensors including proximity, accelerometer and ambient light sensor. As far as dimensions are concerned, it has got a height of 141mm, a width of 71.8mm and a thickness of 9.9mm. It carries a weight of 149 grams.

Processor and Operating System

At the heart of the smartphone, there is a 1.2GHz quad-core processor supplemented by 1GB RAM. The device runs on latest Android v4.4 KitKat operating system.

In the photography department, the smartphone is equipped with a 5MP snapper on the rear panel, accompained by a VGA camera on the front. The back camera offers a picture resolution of 2592x1944 pixels whereas front promises 640x480 pixels resolution. The camera features include digital zoom, autofocus with LED flash. For the entertainment of the users, Alcatel has added number of multimedia features in the phone which includes 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, image viewer, music player, video player, voice recording, video recording and games. It comes pre-loaded with social networking applications such as 'Twitter' and 'Facebook'. It is being offered with some other features such as alarm clock, calendar, clock, organiser, voice memo and SNS integration.
