Acer Liquid E700 is a device with high end hardware and software specifications packed in a sleek exterior along with the tripe SIM capability. It got announced in June, 2014 and is expected to release in third quarter of 2014.
Design and Display
The phone has been crafted in a bar format with a thickness of 9.9 mm and a weight of 155 grams. It has got a 5 inches IPS capacitive touchscreen with a HD resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The viewing experience becomes more crisp and clear with the Zero Air Gap technology which is responsible for the reduced reflections on the display.
Hardware and Software
Powering the device is a 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory that can be expanded upto 32 GB with a microSD slot. The phone runs on the latest Android v4.4.2 KitKat Operating System and Mali-400 GPU has been made responsible for the graphics. Presence of Accelerometer and Proximity sensors further enhances the operations.
Telephony and Messaging
Acer Liquid E700 has the Triple SIM capability that operates on 2G ( GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz ) and 3G ( HSDPA MHz ) network frequencies. One can use the T9 dictionary and Predictive text input feature to do SMS, MMS, Email, Push Email and IM.
Camera
For camera lovers, it has packed a rear camera of 8 MP that provide a resolution of 3264x2448 pixels. The camera features include Flash, Zoom, Geo-tagging, Auto-focus and video recording. It also has a 2 MP front camera with a resolution of 1600x1200 pixels.
Entertainment
User can use the inbuilt music player, image viewer, video recorder and video player for entertainment. One can also switch to games, FM radio or can stay connected with friends using the SNS integration feature.
Connectivity and Battery
The device scores good in terms of connectivity and battery life. Its connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth, USB and GPS with A-GPS support. The company claims that the phone packs a Li-ion battery of 3500 mAh.
