Maximus Inc is a fast growing company in Telecom sector. Its MaxTab Enigma 7.1 is a tablet with good combination of features packed in an affordable price bracket. Although it is available only in Bangladesh but is expected to release worldwide. Its box contents includes a tablet, battery, charger, earphone, USB Cable and user manual. Design and Display

Enigma7.1 has got a typical tablet format with edges curving gently and a wide bezel surrounding the screen. It adorns a 7.1 inches multi-touch TFT capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 800x480 pixels

Hardware and Software

The tablet has been assembled with the Cortex A9 based 1 GHz Dual Core processor with 512 MB RAM which can handle routine tasks well. It operates on Android v 4.1 Jelly Bean Operating System and has 4 GB of on-board storage which can be expanded up to 32 GB with a microSD card. Presence of G sensor further enhance the operations.

Telephony and Messaging

Enigma 7.1 is a single SIM tab that works on 2G ( GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz ) and 3G ( UMTS 900 / 2100 MHz ) network frequencies. On the messaging part, it features SMS, MMS, Email and IM along with the T9 dictionary support.

Camera

The device boasts a rear shooter of 3.2 MP with Zoom facility that provide a resolution of 2048x1526 pixels. There is also a 0.3 MP front facing camera that enables video calling.

Entertainment

Considering entertainment, it is featured with a mp3 music player and mp4 video player. User can tune to FM radio or play embedded games in his/ her leisure time. With the loudspeaker facility you can listen to the music even if you are away from the tablet. Plus availability of 3.5 mm audio jack further increases the capabilities by letting you use any headsets with the tablet.

Connectivity and Battery

On the connectivity part, the device is Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled. Its USB support further enables PC synchronization and transferring files from PC to tablet and vice-versa.
