Intex Technologies is an Indian company that was formed in the year 1996. It deals with 7 business segments including mobiles, IT and consumer durables. Its 'Hunk' mobile is a basic featured handset that is packed with essential features. Its box contents includes a handset, battery, charger, headset, data cable, user manual and warranty card.

Design and Display

It has a simple classic bar format and a compact body which makes it easy to use. It comes packed in dimensions of 123 mm of height, 52.5 mm of width and 13.9 mm of thickness along with a weight of 96 grams. Its front features a 2.4 inches TFT display with a resolution of 240x320 pixels and an alphanumeric keypad below it.

Memory

Its internal memory accounts to 25 KB having the ability to store 100 SMS and 500 contacts in its phonebook. However, this memory can be expanded up to 32 GB with a microSD slot.

Telephony and Messaging

It works on two GSM connections but only one would be active during a call. For messaging, it supports SMS, templates and group SMS. For calling, it features auto call recording, black list, white list, reject calls with SMS and call time reminder.

Camera

The handset comes loaded with a 0.3 MP camera at the back with Zoom facility which gives fine still pictures. User can also record videos with this camera.

Entertainment

For entertainment, it comes installed with a music player and a video player. On the audio front, the handset supports mp3, wav, aac and amr formats with ease. The video player supports 3gp and mp4 formats. The sound quality is good both while playing music and taking calls. The phone also comes with a FM radio with the recording option, a voice recorder and embedded games.

Connectivity and Battery

Its connectivity options includes HSDPA, HSUPA, EDGE, GPRS and WAP. It also has Bluetooth with A2DP support that means you can transfer high quality stereo files wirelessly between compatible devices. Or you can use the USB support for PC synchronization of your contacts and enables transfer of data from PC to phone and vice-versa. On the battery front, it has Li-ion battery of 1800 mAh which ensures max standby time of 400 hours and max talktime of 19 hours.

Other Features

It comes loaded with some essential basic features like Intex Zone, multi-language support, data protector, STK, LED torch, alarm clock, calender, calculator, pre-loaded browser and mobile tracker.
