Intex Aqua Y2 Remote is a Dual SIM budget smartphone by Intex. It was announced and launched in February, 2015 in the very popular series, Aqua. The Aqua Y2 Remote hosts a big screen, powerful processor, KitKat OS, good camera and huge memory that make it perfect choice for the buyers who want style and performance at same time. The sales package of the phone contains GSM handset, earphone, battery, travel charger, user manual, screen guard, protection cover, data cable and warranty card.

Display and Design

The front of the phone dominates a 4-inch WVGA IPS display which has a screen resolution of 480x800 pixels and colors depth of 16 Million. Measurement wise, it comes with a length of 125 mm, width of 64 mm, thickness of 10 mm and it weighs around 110 grams with battery. It also support some sensors like gravity, proximity and light to automate your daily tasks.

Processor and OS

It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Dual core MediaTek Mt6572 processor under the hood which is paired with 512 MB RAM to perform all the basic operations to provide uninterrupted service to its users. Running the device is an Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.

Camera and Memory

To let you capture your every special moment, it comes equipped with a 5 MP camera at the back panel with LED flash and auto-focus features. Other camera features are panorama, face detection and smile shot. It packs a 2 MP front camera for the quality selfies. For the storage purpose, it comes loaded with an internal memory of 4 GB which can be further expandable up to 32 GB.

Connectivity and Battery

It operates on 2G and 3G network frequencies. For the user connectivity, it has Wi-Fi and GPRS/EDGE. While, it has Bluetooth for the wireless data sharing and USB cable for the PC connection. The GPS/A-GPS service is also present in the phone for the navigation purpose. The battery ticking inside the phone is of 1500 mAh unit that delivers a talktime of 4-8 hours and standby time of 120-180 hours.
