Overview

Light Weight Anbdroid Based KitKat Powered Smartphone

Intex Aqua Q1 Plus is an Android based KitKat powered smartphone announced in April, 2015. Though it is a light weight device so it can be carried around easily and is available at an affordable price which can easily suits to every pocket. It is a dual SIM handset comes with dual standby option. Under the box, the contents include charger, headset, USB cable, user manual and warranty card. Let's have a look at the review of this smartphone.

Display and Dimensions

It carries a 4.5 inch IPS capacitive multi touch display supporting a resolution of 480x854 pixels, 218 ppi of pixel density and color depth of 16 million. This bar shaped smartphone has got a height of 135.6 mm, a width of 66.5 mm and a thickness of 9.6 mm. It weighs at 120 grams. It comes packed with accelerometer sensor and proximity sensor.

Processor and Operating System

Intex has used 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor which is based on Spreadtrum SC7731 chipset and Mali 400 GPU. It is coupled with 512 MB RAM for the smooth functioning of the applications. It works on Android v4.4 (KitKat) operating system.

Camera and Storage

For the purpose of photography, it packs a 5 MP auto-focus rear camera with LED flash which promises clear pictures even in low light conditions. It carries a resolution of 2592x1936 pixels. In order to click selfies or to video calls, it comes equipped with 1.3 MP front shooter which has a resolution of 1280x1024 pixels. It comes loaded with 8 GB internal memory which is further expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

The connectivity attributes offered by the device includes A-GPS, GPS, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE and Wi-Fi. It supports 2G (GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) and 3G (HSDPA 2100 MHz) network frequencies. It draws a backup from Li-Ion 1600 mAh battery which is rated to offer a talktime of up to 6 hours and standby time of up to 150 hours.
