Intex Aqua Octa i17 is the latest dual SIM phablet device from Intex which was launched in January, 2014 and will reach in the market by January 15, 2014. It comes in a box with an earphone, a data cable, a travel charger, an user manual, a screen guard, a flip cover, a warranty card and a removable Li-Ion 2300mAh battery with a standby time of up to 300 hours approximately and talk time of up to 10 hours approximately. It has a height of 161.06mm, a width of 80.86mm and a thickness of 7mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 180gms and runs on 2G(GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz) and 3G(UMTS 2100MHz) network frequencies. It is available in White and Black shades at a price of INR 19999.

Intex Aqua Octa i17 has a 6.0-inch, capacitive and multi-touch, IPS OGS(One-Glass Solution) display touchscreen with a HD resolution of 720x1280 pixels and 262K color depth. It has a RAM of 2GB along with an internal memory of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD memory card. It is an Android v4.2.2, Jelly Bean OS based phablet with an octa-core 1.7GHz processor, a MediaTek 6592 chipset, a Mali 450-MP4 GPU(clocked at 700MHz), a fair number of sensors such as accelerometer, proximity, light, gyroscope and magnetic and a lot of other features which includes a loudspeaker, a 3.5mm audio jack, WAP browser, tethering, computer and OTA sync, FM radio, Java via MIDP emulator, an audio and a video player with a large number of supported formats, a video/image editor, a document viewer, voice memo/dial, auto call record, an organizer, preloaded games, Intex Zone along with many preloaded features, Google Play Store, Matrabhasha, Intex Cloud, Online Software update, Intex Play, NQ Vault, OLX and many more.

Intex Aqua Octa i17 has also got a 13.0MP rear camera with a resolution of 4128x3096 pixels, digital zoom, auto focus, LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection and HDR and can record high-definition videos too. It also has a 5.0MP front camera with a resolution of 2592x1944 pixels, digital zoom and auto focus for shooting as well as for video calling. For messaging, it includes SMS, MMS, E-mail, Push mail, IM and integrated social networking sites along with predictive text input. For connectivity, it has got a GPRS and EDGE, GPS, a v2.0 micro USB port, a v4.0 Bluetooth, WLAN feature with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi direct and hotspot and great 3G speeds(HSDPA and HSUPA).
