Impressive Pocket Friendly Smartphone by Intex

Intex Aqua Desire HD is an impressive pocket friendly smartphone announced in April, 2015. It is an upgrade to the Aqua Desire which was released back in February. Its main attraction is its octa-core processor which ensures smooth and fast management of tasks. Let's have a look at the detailed review of this smartphone.

Display and Dimensions

It owns a 5 inch IPS capacitive touchscreen set at a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. It is a multi-touch device which holds a color depth of 16 Million and 294 ppi of pixel density. Talking about its measurements, Intex has designed this handset with a height of 140 mm, width of 71.9 mm and a thickness of 7.9 mm.

Processor and Operating System

It is backed by a 1.4 GHz Octa-Core processor based on MediaTek MT6592M chipset. Coupled with a 1 GB RAM, it is quite easy to perform multi-tasking efficiently. It works on Android v4.4 (KitKat) operating system.

Camera and Storage

The handset features a 10 MP auto-focus primary camera which delivers a resolution of 4032x2480 pixels. It supports digital zoom, geo-tagging and LED flash. On the storage front, it comes packed with 8 GB internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32 GB through microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

It comes with the usual bevy of connectivity features including 3G support, dual-SIM card slot 2G (GSM) and 3G (HSDPA), Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, USB, EDGE, GPRS and Wi-Fi. Packed with a 2000 mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 5 hours of talktime and up to 210 hours of standby time over 2G network.
