4G Based Smartphone With Impressive Features

HTC Desire 826 is the company's first smartphone in Desire series based on Lollipop platform. It was released by the company in January, 2014. The 4G-supported handset comes in 2 variants (single-SIM and dual-SIM). It comes with impressive features and good specifications and is available at an attractive price point. It is being offered with box contents which include charger, USB cable, user manual and warranty card. Its features and specifications are mentioned below:

Display and Design

The dual SIM smartphone is made of glossy plastic, enhanced with some fine color accents a stylish look, which has become a signature of the Desire series. Its sides have a rubbery texture which makes it easy to hold. It exhibits a 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen carrying a resolution 1920x1080 pixels. It provides a sharp image and wide viewing angles. The multi-touch device throws off a color depth of 16 million and has a pixel density of 401ppi. It is 7.7mm thick and holds a weight of 155 grams. It features accelerometer sensor, compass sensor and proximity sensor.

Processor and Operating System

It is supplemented by 1.5 GHz, 1.0 GHz Octa-core processor supported by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset. It has Adreno 405 graphic processor for rich visual experience. It paired with 2GB RAM which is used to store documents, files, movies and songs. It runs on latest Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system out of the box.

Camera and Storage

It features amazing 13MP auto-focus primary camera with digital zoom and LED flash for taking pictures in low light conditions. Having resolution of 4128x3096 pixels, it is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps. It has ultrapixel front facing camera for selfies and video calls. At the storage part, it is loaded with 16GB internal memory which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

Connectivity and Battery

The HTC Desire 826 is incorporated with connectivity options such as 3G, 4G, bluetooth, GPS, USB, GPRS, EDGE and Wi-Fi. It is backed by 2600 mAh battery offering normal talktime as well as standby time.
