Taiwanese company, HTC is always out with its high-end and budget devices. The HTC Butterfly 2 is a premium device of the company in Butterfly series. It was released in September, 2014. It comes with all the decent specs that make it stand out in a crowd. Its a bar phone and main attraction of this phone is camera. It comes in a pack with handset, charger, earphone, USB cable, warranty card and user manual.
Display and Design
Butterfly 2 packs a 5-inch full HD display which suits very well to its stunning design. It provides a display resolution of 1080x1920 pixels, color depth of 16 Million and pixel density of 441ppi. It has a length of 145.4mm, width of 70.2mm, thickness of 10mm as its dimensions along with a 151 grams weight. Like Sony's smartphone, it is also a dust and water resistant device.
Processor and OS
Operating the device is an Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS. At the heart, it packs 2.5GHz Quad-core Krait 400 processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset and Adreno 330 GPU whichis paired with 2GB RAM to perform multiple tasks with ease.
Camera and Memory
It comes equipped with an auto-focus 13MP camera on the back with dual-LED flash, panorama and HDR features. It clicks at 3264x2448 pixels resolution and is capable of recording full HD videos. At the front, it has got a 5MP camera which also supports full HD video recording. For the storage purpose, phone supports 2 options of internal memory - 16GB and 32GB, which can be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
Connectivity and Battery
HTC Butterfly 2 offers bluetooth, Wi-Fi, microUSB, NFC, EDGE, GPRS, GPS/A-GPS as its connectivity features. While for the day long backup, it depends upon Li-polymer 2700 mAh battery which delivers up to 24 hours of talktime and 643 hours of standby time on 3G.
