Gfive T33 Plus Design and Build Quality

Unique is a good word to describe the Gfive T33 Plus. This bar style phone weighs in at 68 g and features an alphanumeric keypad that is situated on the right of the device. There is a circular navigation dial on the left. This design makes the device seem a bit on the cluttered side. The plastic body all feels very cheap.

User Interface and Comfort to Use Gfive T33 Plus

The user interface is very simple to use, taking only a few minutes to understand how to navigate through it. Because of the crowded keypad, you will find it too small for texting.

Telephony and Phonebook

The phonebook will store up to 500 contacts as well as log your missed, received, and dialled calls

Messaging and Emails

SMS support will allow you to send and receive text message with ease. The T33 Plus's memory will store up to 200 messages. There is not a native email application that allows you to connect to your work/personal emails.

Gallery, Photo Viewer and Video Player

The basic gallery will allow you to view and delete photos. A basic video player wile play MP4, 3GP, and AVI files. The small 2 inch screen is not going to give you the best viewing experience.

Gfive T33 Plus Music Player and FM Radio

Several music formats are supported, including MP3, AAC, AMR, and MIDI. There isn't much on-board memory on the T33 Plus so a micro SD card is a must. You can put a card with up to 8 GB of memory into the device. An FM radio player will also give you access to local music and talk stations.

Gfive T33 Plus Camera and Image Quality

The 1.3MP camera does have a flash. This isn't really going to help you take adequate quality photos on the T33 Plus. Images turn out blurry, with details washed out. Some available camera features include continuous shooting, still shooting, and five white balance modes.

Video Camera and Video Quality

The video recorder will allow you to record your life's moments. The T33 Plus is not made to be a video recorder, so use it sparingly, as the quality is poor.

Gfive T33 Plus Connectivity Options

You have dual SIM and dual Standby available on GSM 900, 1800, 850 and 1900 bands. In addition, if you want to transfer files to other devices, there is USB 2.0 and Bluetooth 2.0 support.

Organizer and other Tools

An alarm clock, calendar, and calculator give you some basic tools for your everyday life.

Web Browser and Applications

A WAP 2.0 browser will allow you to access the World Wide Web.

Google Maps and GPS

GPS is not a supported feature.

For roughly Rs. 3,995 (approx., may vary), you can get your hands on the T33 plus. With this device, you can really go either way. It is an affordable Dual SIM device that has a great call quality and battery life. The design is not for everyone however. If you find the device's unique looks appealing, then this may be the device for you.
