The Celkon C7040 is a touch phone by Celkon that gives you the ability to use two SIM cards at the same time. This means that you can have the best that both of your favourite mobile providers have to offer without switching the card. Apart from that, the touch screen is very responsive and very bright letting you view videos, text and surf the web without strain.

Celkon C7040 Display

Talking about the screen, it is a 3.5 inches capacitive screen meaning that you cannot use any other objects apart from your fingers to control the phone. The screen size is decent at 320x480 pixels, which puts it in the same realm as some of the bestselling smartphones in terms of screen size.

Celkon C7040 Camera

The camera is a 1.3 megapixels camera. You are not going to be taking high res photos on this one. It does not also take pictures that be called beautiful in the dark. The only reprieve is that you can take some decent photos to post on the web but do not hope for anything professional. The camera offers you digital zoom as well as the ability to record videos. The phone is also able to play the videos you record as well as MP4, 3GP and WMV videos.

The Software

This phone does not offer 3G connectivity, GPS, EDGE connectivity or WI-FI connections. This means that you may have a hard time connecting to other devices that do not have Bluetooth.

Verdict

Seeing that this phone retails for about INR 2500-3000 (approx., may vary), it offers you enough value for its price. It is not a high end device and thus is suited to people who are looking for a non-complicated mobile device.
